Lieutenant Stephen Goldfoot
Lieutenant S. Goldfoot died December 12, 1941 which was the start of the 2nd World War for the USA. I found him on http://www.findagrave.com/ buried at the Al Alamain Military Cemetery in Egypt. He was a member of the South African Air force. He must have been a pilot and went down in Africa, of which Egypt is at the northern tip.

I have discovered that he is Stephen Goldfoot, born about 1921 in Johannesburg, South Africa. His parents were Louis and Mary Goldfoot. His father was a dentist. My cousin Denise, who lives in South Africa and is in this picture, was able to visit his grave last year. She is a Goldfoot.
